Wow, what a weekend. We had a long weekend with the holiday and we were booked full. Thursday, Taylor and I and a few of our friends went to Callahan to pick strawberries. It was very hot, but we had a great time and the strawberries are super yummy!! Friday, the 4th of July we had a B-B-Q with some friends and then went to Moosehaven for fireworks. It was a long day, and when we got into the car to head home at 10:30 Taylor said "Mom this is too late to be out partying", so needless to say it was a LOOONG day. Saturday, was my Mom's birthday and Uncle Seaney came to visit so we played in the pool all day, and when Grandma left to go get a hair cut we ran inside to blow up 200 balloons and to decorate her room. At, first we were blowing them up ourselves but out of fear that we would faint from lack of oxygen we got Daddys trusty compressor, which helped us all not faint. Grandma loved her surprise!!! That evening we went to dinner all together. After dinner Taylor and Benji slept over at their friends house, it was Benji's first sleepover, and when I came to pick him up in the morning I got the "ohhh" because he didn't want to come home. It was really nice. Sunday, was my once a month Sangria Sunday with all my girl friends so that was a nice time to be mellow and have girl talk. After such a long weekend, we are not going to go anywhere or do anything this week so we can recoup and get our strength back!!
