Thanks for helping at breakfast Daddy!!!

This last weekend Taylor and Ben had an end of the summer sleepover. We had three little kids sleep over. We made homemade pizza dough and each kid got to put there own sauce, cheese and toppings on. It was so fun!! The next morning Dave and I were making breakfast and Daddy was being very helpful, as you can see above, I'm not sure why one pancake needs so much syrup?? After breakfast we played in the pool all afternoon, it was a great day full of fun. Later that nighgt Dave and I finally got to see Dark Night. For those who don't know I LOVE movies, so I really had been wanting to see this movie. When Dave and I were first married we went to movies every weekend. So, this was quite a treat to go to a movie. Well, Dark Night was GREAT!!! I forgot I was watching a movie. From the start of the movie it just goes and goes, there is literally no stop in this movie, for 2 and 1/2 hours I could not pull my eyes off of the screen. Everyone must see!!!
This week, we have been buttoning down all the final details for school....arrgh. We went to BJ's (like Costco) to get lunch supplies. Ben was so into it, it was darling. He was so serious picking out juice boxes and snacks for his lunch. He is just so ready to start school, he is only going to go to the Afternoon Program which is three hours two days a week, but he gets to bring his lunch and he thinks that is pretty great. I really wwant to gett my volunteer hours in at Taylor's school these next couple of years so when Ben starts Kindergarten I will be able to sub. In the school district here, you have to have 4000 volunteer hours and then you can be a subsitute after passing all the background screens. Last year I got a little less then 1000, so I need to kick it in. Well, Friday we will meet Taylor's teacher and see who is in her class, so let's hope she has at least one friend with her.

The Dark Knight was awesome huh? Loved it too. I am glad you and Dave got out to a movie. It feels like an accomplishment when you can actually pull off a movie! =)
