I am so proud

I wanted to hurry and get this down before we leave to go out of town tomorrow. Tonight was the show of the birth of Christ at Ben's school. Each of the students had a roll, like Mary and Joseph, Shepard's etc. Well, Ben had been given to roll as a child in the Living Room where he was supposed to sit and listen to Father Ken tell the story of Christ's birth. Right before the show was going to start one of the teachers, Mrs. Devito, comes up to me and says "Ben is going to be a King now, the other little boy has decided he isn't going to do it because he is too scared". I was a little concerned because he had only practiced to be in the living room, and the Kings had to walk down the church aisle, kneel at Baby Jesus and then hand over their "gift". So I'm hoping for the best, and just praying he doesn't get scared himself. Let me just say, he did wonderful!!! He followed the others, knew right when to kneel and waited until his turn to hand off the gift. He even had to sit by himself for a moment and he didn't even get scared! I was so proud of him! When the show was all over and he walked up to me he said "I got to be a Wiseman" and I said "You did and you were great, you saved the show" and in true Ben personality he says "yeah this is itching me can I take it off now?" (referring to the costume).
I don't know how to get the pictures off of my Mom's camera but, as soon as I figure it out I will post them. I do have to say I was very impressed with the show St. Margarets put on. It was an interesting story and great music and the children were fantastic.
