While Daddy's away the kids will play....

Dave is in Telluride Colorado at the Blues and Brews Festival. Three days of free beer and blues music and as far as I can tell he is in heaven..beer heaven. So to help pass the time and help the kids not miss Daddy we have been having lots of fun. Friday night I let the kids rent whatever movies they wanted so we ended up with three different movies watching them in three different rooms. I know not a lot of family togetherness but the kids thought it was great and their favorite of the evening was the Tinfoil dinners they got to eat in front of the T.V. . Ben could not believe his luck as to watch a movie and eat his dinner at the same time and Taylor thought dinner in tinfoil was brilliant.

Dave is not a fan of Potato's so I never cook them, this was my chance, here is my loaded chicken and potato dinners..

Saturday we were up early for Ben's soccer game and then off to the Library for craft day. I was able to do my favorite Saturday activity and catch a nap by bribing the kids with dinner and a movie. So after nap time we were off to..



Each of the kids got their own kids popcorn and drink and I even let them pick which seats they wanted to sit in. A little fact about me is I HATE nothing more in life then people talking in the movie theater. I hate spending money and then having to listen to people gabbing, I wonder why in the h@#& would someone come to a movie and then talk the whole time. So what happens?? Yup, Betty barley keeps her mouth shut and Henry can't hear the movie sits behind us. This old Guy could not hear the movie and his wife narrated the damn thing for him. I was steaming I couldn't even concentrate on the movie because I was so upset...I know, I know. Whenever I complain Dave tells me to just ignore them but I can't, so as far as I could tell the movie was cute, and the kids liked it so that is all the is important. After the movie we met up with Foffee for some delish dinner at our favorite Mexican place (Dave doesn't like Mexican either).

Back to the Soccer game. The first half was great on both sides. Each team had unbreakable defense and no balls were getting threw. At half it was 0-0. Once we were watered up and cooled down Crush was unstoppable, scoring 5 goals. Ben was insane stealing the ball, taking the ball down the field over and over, and once he kicked the ball towards the goal but the goalie got it.
I have to say the Coach for the other team was so kind to our players continually complimenting them on their plays.
