Kids Dentist appointments this morning...no cavities and Taylor got rave reviews on the health of her mouth.
My Riding Lawnmower is broken. This bums me out cause it is fairly new, I got it for Mother's Day 3 years ago, doesn't sound like a very exciting Mother's Day gift, but to me it seemed so practical so that's what I asked for. Anyway, I can't get it started. I turned the key and it did nothing, figuring it was cold I pushed it in the yard to warm up in the Sun. No luck. Then I emptied out the fuel tank and refilled it with new gas. No luck. Then I asked Dave to charge the battery. No Luck. I looked on-line and Toro mentioned changing the fuses, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is the fuse and the bad boy will start right up. Here's hoping. Yesterday when I was working in the yard it was so inconvenient to drag all the bush clippings around the house and through the yard to the burn pit. I was missing my mower and pull trailer. I want it fixed...insert frowny face. That was yesterday.
Friday I had Parent Teacher Conferences at Ben's school. Not so happy about that. As the Teachers were talking I was getting more and more upset I could just feel my blood boiling. Apparently one of the Teachers asked Ben his sisters name and not wanting to be bothered he said "I don't remember" then when he being given a letter evaluation he continued to say "i Don't remember". What he means is "let me think about it" because he says this to me all the time. I'll say where did you put your shoes and he'll say "i don't remember" then say "oh yeah by the door". So instead of telling Ben that yes he in fact remembers and just to think about it they put in their chart he didn't know all this stuff he really knows. I was listening to them and I was like...idiots.
Truthfully I like Ben's Teachers I just don't understand what happened. It is true he may need a little extra help remembering some letters and I felt like January was a little late in the year to be told the areas that need a little more attention. We have been going over things all weekend and he is just fine. I just don't get it, how could his evaluation been so bad. I keep going back to maybe he was tired.
That night the kids had sleepovers.
Thursday I had a meeting with Taylor's teacher. Turns out she did awesome on some evaluation..I guess I have one smartie and one dumbie.
Wednesday I realized I really miss that show Drake and Josh. I like that show. It makes me giggle.
Tuesday I made arrangements for Ben to go to his friends house after school so I could wait around all day and into the evening (7:30 to be precise) for the cable guy to come fix my cable box.
Monday I was having a good boob day...don't you love those!
