Soccer and Blackmail.......

Soccer was A to the W to the E S OM E !. Awesome! Whoo, the game was great. Sharks were on fire.

Now, seriously I am not saying this because I am his Mom, well maybe a little cause I'm his Mom, but the Coaches agree that Ben is the best player on the team. Mostly it is because he is one of the oldest on the team and has played 3 seasons but, he knows how to dribble to ball, and pass and follow the ball into the goal box, plus he is unstoppable on defense. This morning he got 2 of the 6 goals, when he was goalie he stopped the one shot that was kicked in and on defense he kicked the ball so far away it went more then half way down the field. He is beautiful out there.

Today Ben wanted to play Goalie. We had mad defense, as you can see....

Notice Ben (green shirt) wandering out of the Goal and #4 looking towards the sky. Good thing our team kept the ball at the other end of the field cause the other guys wouldn't know what hit them when they approached this strong line.....

I mean seriously, how intimidating is that darling girl holding Coach Dave's hand. Or the denfensemen singing the alphabet. And just for good measure we had Ben asking the bench coach what was for snack.

After a great morning of sports Dave and I dumped the kids at our dear friends house who were so willing to take our kids last minute so we could go to my friends birthday party at a local bar. It was great, I mean how many places serve this.. 

the picture does not do it justice but that is a litter of beer. 1 litter. Huge. Every time we got one it cracked me up. I mean really, really we need 1 litter of beer at a time? With a couple of those and a few of the special of the night (Lemon Drop Shots) Dave was a whee tipsee. So it wasn't long before he was dancing on the chairs singing about Apple Bottom Jeans and Boots with the Furrr.

As crazy as he was I couldn't get him to get up on stage.
