Games 4 and 5.......

 Soccer has been great. I know I am behind on the updates but I think I have an excuse. Game 4 we played a super good team. For every goal we got they got one. Ben was great on Goalie and stopped everything that came his way. I was starting to get a little frustrated because Coach Jeff had Ben on defense for most of the game. But, in the last two minutes of the last quarter the Coaches put Ben in and told him to go get a goal to break up the tie. 

What do you think Ben did?

Yep. Got the ball ran it down and scored. It was beautiful and I was hysterical.

Game 4

 

 The team we played was super young. It was a blood bath.

 The very first play of the game Ben took the ball down the field and scored a goal so, Coach Jeff benched him. Then in the second quarter Ben was on defense. Nothing got through him. After 4 stopped goals Coach Jeff benched Ben. This was pretty much the standard of the game. Put Ben in, he would get a goal then get benched. Ben played probably played 10 minutes of a 60 minute game. I was steaming. I kept yelling at Coach Dave to put him in, Coach Dave would shrug his shoulders and say that Coach Jeff was Bench Coach and it was up to him. ERRGGG.

I was super ticked. Ben did get three of the 8 goals and we did pummel the other team but one of our players was throwing a tantrum because he wanted to be on Offense and when he was on Defense or in Goal he would sit down and cry. His Mom told Coach Jeff that she told him that if he got a goal he would get an ice cream cone so, Coach Jeff benched Ben (who I will mention was not throwing any sort of fit and was listening and playing fair) and put this kid in. I was sooo annoyed. After the game I talked to Dave and he said that if Ben had been in the whole time the others guys wouldn't of had a chance. I said that no other team would take out the best player to give the other team a chance. Dave said that Sharks aren't only interested in winning they want everyone on the field to have fun. I was like what kind of crap is that?? No not really but I was annoyed that my son couldn't play cause he was too good but the little brat cried and got his way.
