Ben was invited to a birthday party for a boy in his class. It was a cool party, at a movie theater. We did a back stage tour and we got to see how they edit film and how the concessions are run. After all the cool stuff we saw the movie Alpha and Omega.
As Ben and I were walking into the theater the birthday boys Mom asked "Did you pay?" I was like, "Did I pay what?" She said "the movie is for the kids, if you are watching the movie you have to pay to see the movie"....Wha??

I had to go buy a movie ticket! I had to pay so I could stay with my Son at a birthday party of someone I didn't even know. The movie was 3D and that cost me 9 bucks then I had to buy a Diet Coke to calm my nerves and that was 4 bucks. Had I known I had to spend 13 bucks to go to this party I certainly wouldn't have spent $25.00 on a gift!
And to top it off the Mom was a hair stylist and she was handing out her business card as we were leaving the movie....geesh!
