We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My brother came down from Boston cause I totally pulled the Cancer card and boo hoo'd till he agreed to come be with us. He hates Florida. He loves me and my family but he just doesn't like where we live. Remember he is a single, affluent man who lives in the middle of the hustle and bustle of major excitement in Boston and we, we are way to suburb for him. One afternoon he and I went to a really trendy city in Jacksonville for lunch, and he asked why we couldn't live somewhere cool like that instead of where we live. He doesn't understand the whole kids and yard thing.
With Bro in town I made a huge dinner. Truth be told I didn't want him to be alone on Thanksgiving. Since Mom died I feel like I have to take care of him, so I showered him with yummy breakfasts with freshly brewed cups of coffee, crab legs from the fish market (this is major considering I only by frozen fish that is BOGO at the grocer), and even did his laundry before he left.
One Sunday afternoon we went to the park on the river. I couldn't believe how long two kids and two grown men could play in the spring.
I swear they spent hours making boats out of leaves and racing them down the spring into the river. They could watch those things for hours.
My kids love Big Bro, and played with him all day everyday. Bro was such a good sport and gladly played Dont Break the Ice over and over.
This is what I saw for 11 days straight.

What a great uncle!
I can't believe the star treatment he got from you... you would have thought he was the one with cancer and not you!!! =)
No kidding Amie is right he should have been taking care of you...I want to come stay at your house! I can't believe how much Sean looks like your dad...I had to take a second look to double check.
