Ok, so when I was in High School I failed Sewing class. I did. My Mom was so ashamed because as you all know she was a beautiful seamstress.
So you can imagine my horror when I had to get Taylor's Girl Scout Junior sash ready for cookie sales. The patches can be ironed on but they don't stay and really they need to be sewed on. I took this job very seriously.

I dug out my Mom's beautiful Sewing Machine along with the instructions, and after a couple hours of reading the instructions, panic phone calls to sewing friends, and a few tears look what I did...
Yeee...I am so proud of myself. I now know how to prepare the bobbin, thread the machine and sew like a Junior High kid!

Congrats!
It's more than I could do...
I was a cub scout den mom for 3 years. I sewed on my essential patches with the machine, gave up and never finished. Those machines intimidate me! I can craft my pants off but I am scared of sewing. Good job on those patches!
