A sight more beautiful then birth....

Taylor got a basket. It was the most beautiful thing I have witnessed in my life.

Wait, I am getting ahead of myself. The kids had three games this week. Tuesday night Taylor had a game, I don't remember much of it because I had received my chemo earlier in the morning and I was in rough shape. I do remember Dave escorting me into the courts to a comfy padded chair which he moved from the lobby so I didn't have to sit on the hard bleachers. Isn't he a good caregiver.

Friday night The Ninjas killed it. 13 to 8. Ben got four baskets.

Saturday, oh Saturday. Saturday will live in infamy. Remember last season that team that cheated to beat us, we played them Saturday. Celtics were Hot. The girls were completely in-sync with each other, each pass was perfect, each steal resulted in a basket and every foul shot was made. Taylor defended with fire in her eyes and was ahead of every move the other guys made. Then she was passed the ball, she looked left, she looked right and with no one open she shot the ball. The second that ball left her hand the world stood still, it felt like forever as that ball soared over the teams heads dropping perfectly through the rim hitting nothing but net.
I cried.
I screamed, then I cried.
It was by far the most exciting moment of MY life.
Celtics won 13-10

That is so awesome for Taylor!!! Those wins are the best especially when one of the teams cheated to win... it just goes to show what comes around goes around. ;0)
