This thing is huge!!!

Well, we have power again, lost it yesterday Thursday for a while. It wasn't out long enough for us to hook up the generator. Taylor has been out of school Thursday and Friday along with work for Dave is canceled. Really, everything is canceled because of flooding on the bridges, since we live on an island we really should not leave our house, which we are not. The storm is huge and moving slow ( about 60 miles per hour) so we have just been pummeled. It seems like it is never going to end. Yesterday afternoon the eye traveled over us so we didn't have rain for about an hour and a half, but other then that short time it has been raining with heavy winds. Our town has opened shelters but we would rather just stay at our house, we haven't seen any flooding inside our house yet, but our yard and roads into our neighborhood literally have feet of standing water. Today we are going to try to head over to our other house (the one we are trying to rent out) to see the damage over there. I'm sure it doesn't have power but I am worried about the trees being down, so we'll go see what is up with that house. Well, that is all I can think of right now, we are all staying dry....for now.
