Dave called me on my birthday. He was ready to come home and we came up with a plan that I would fly out to EL Lay and we would drive back to Salt Lake together on a little road trip of sorts. So, out I fly. In the beginning of the trip we were sleeping in separate beds...by Ceder City not so much. This trip is the moment that changed our lives. I remember driving though the desert and looking at him and realizing I was in love. I didn't talk the rest of the way home. Once we got home we never left each others side. 4 months later we moved in together so we wouldn't get married. 11 months later we were married. Talk about moving slowly!
I got rid of Nighty Pants (last kitten) today. I was almost to the point of letting the kids keep him. I just couldn't imagine dropping him off at the no kill shelter all by himself. But, this afternoon one of the girls that took one earlier on called and wanted another one. So yea! No more kittens hiding in the couch. No more kittens meowing at the door. No more yucky litter to clean out. And, Lucy Mamma got Spayed today and guess what she was in heat! Can you believe that...how awful, can you imagine more kittens.
