Today's game was full of thrills and chills. Blue Eagles took the lead from the beginning and never looked back. Ben assisted in a goal and one of our girls surprised us all by crushing the defense and scoring 2 goals. She was awesome and the other team learned not to be fooled by her pretty face, she was a force charging through those packs and getting the ball in the box. Man, she was hot!! Blue Eagles won 5-2 and if I have to be honest were in control the whole game.
The best part of the game was when the other team threw an off-sides ball into play and it hit Ben right in the chest. Ben stood for a second and Coach Dave (daddy) said "shake it off bud", to which Ben replied "I don't think I'm going to make it".
So much drama and excitement. I can hardly wait till our next game on Tuesday.
